Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had beautiful and varied rooms that mostly met our needs, but there was a delay in their readiness despite assurances. The service was friendly and attentive, although staff could benefit from more training. The tranquil location was perfect for a break but fell short of expectations for a top-rated hotel. The dining experience was nice, with delicious dishes but slightly lacking in staff attentiveness. Overall, the facilities were enjoyable but there were areas for improvement.
The hotel offers rooms that have obviously been recently upgraded and are lovely with an immaculate bathroom. However, the area outside my room was hideous. The location was functional given the body and the building itself was beautiful and filled with history and culture. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes being superb while others were poor. The service, though friendly and helpful, could use a bit more interest in guest interactions.
I was sold a deluxe King room which turned out to be amazing, with one double bed room and one twin room, perfect for our stay. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The housekeeping staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, providing us with extra sachets of tea and milk as soon as we asked. However, the room felt pokey in the extreme.
